about Wallace Chadwick

Wallace is a lifelong Chesapeake resident. He attended Chesapeake Public Schools K-12, and graduated from Indian River High School where he met his wife. His three daughters and son in law are also all Indian River alumni along with many others in his extended family. Wallace holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration.

Wallace went on to enlist in the United States Marine Corps and served as an Engineer where he worked up the ranks to a Non-Commissioned Officer. He was honorably discharged and returned to Chesapeake to continue his passion for service to others.

He joined the Chesapeake Police Department in early 2000 and during his service as a fully certified law enforcement officer has worked in a variety of positions as he achieved rank through the promotional processes.

  • Executive Officer for Traffic Bureau and Special Operations

Wallace is a founder and current CEO of Law Enforcement United, a national non-profit which is based out of Chesapeake that began in 2009.

Under his leadership Law Enforcement United has donated over $10.5 million dollars towards supporting families of fallen officers, officer and K-9 memorial tributes, and grants to law enforcement agencies nationwide for life saving equipment.
